Our High Schools Need Us Now

Our local high schools are among the best in the state — but we haven't passed a new funding measure in 16 years. Costs have gone up. Local support hasn't. The result: $4.2 million in cuts over the past two years, with more on the way unless Measure W passes this November.

Here's What You Can Do This Week

-->Endorse Measure W. 93% of local voters say school quality is a top priority — help prove it.

Endorsements are open to everyone: friends, family, neighbors, anyone who cares about our schools. Endorse HERE.

-->Volunteer. We have 800+ open slots in September and October — from an hour of your time to a bigger role. There's a job for everyone. Sign Up HERE.

-->Vote yes for our high schools - vote YES on W

Please note that all Bow Wow Chow, Library and Others’ First Volunteers must have Level 2 Volunteer Clearance via Be a Mentor. Please see the flyer below for more information on the volunteer levels and what steps are needed for clearance.

Please complete your clearances before arriving for your shift. The office staff cannot admit you if you have not completed your clearances. You can complete your clearances here.
